Well the grass at Allwine is well above six feet. I have thought about this shot for some time. I have attempted this shot before but have been disappointed. I was going after the shot you often see that people take of the redwoods or aspens with a wide angle. You know the shot.
So i laid down in the grass - and shot away. Only to be disappointed again; because when you lay down, so does the grass.
So this time while laying down I stretched out my arm and shot straight up. I like the affect. This is pretty close to what I was hoping for.
Go out and try it - once again - no one else at the prairie this evening.
