15 years ago the Chitwood family moved to Omaha, NE. I had accepted a position as Senior Pastor at a small church in NW Omaha. We packed up our stuff, our dog and our boys and moved to the "good life."
We have had some great times - graduations, state and national championships - a wedding - church that continues to thrive - great friendships.
We have had some hard times - the loss of Linda's mom - sending our son to war.
But through it all, we are grateful to God for his continued faithfulness in our lives.
I am thankful that we said yes to the open door that was before us that day. We also look forward to many more years in this wonderful city.
