We were able to get together with a lot of family and friends again this year. We were even able to celebrate with my dad who had just had brain surgery the week before. He is doing great.
And to top the day off we got a phone call from our son in Afghanistan! It is so great to hear his voice.
We truly miss Justin on days like the 4th. and the 5th and the 6th...
I am truly proud to be an American, and to be the dad of an American soldier.
