Trying to isolate a single crane in a river or thousands can be tough - especially when your longest lens is a 300. But occasionally one walks away from the crowd.
I loved the play of the light on the river and the mood that this photo gives.
Sometimes it is just magical on the Platte. Patience and great light is the key.
