I have been working on my prairie flower photography. I have been liking some of the results. This was after a million dollar rain. That is what the farmers around here called the recent rains that we got.
These wonderful little flowers usually only bloom in the morning. When it gets to hot they shut down. My kind of flower.
Once again the 50mm 1.4 is my lens of choice. Why? Because of the 1.4. To me depth of field is key. I want tack sharp images and blurred background. I want your eye to see the flowers but also realize there is more going on in the photo. But you are not distracted by the background.
