I stood outside tonight and took this shot - I had just talked with my son Justin who is in the Army. I wanted to hear his voice today...11 years ago he was 14 - I never dreamed on that September day that Justin would be fighting in the sands of Afghanistan one day. He proudly serves our county and protects our freedom as a soldier in the 10th Mountain Division.

I am so very proud of him.

This jet is on it's final approach to Offutt Air Base. Soon this jet will make a left turn and head southeast 30 miles.

11 years ago President Bush landed at the very same base. He went there because he needed to be safe and to make decisions. I am thankful that President Bush displayed such courage that day, and in the coming days.

Pausing now to pray for our President - our soldiers and families who lost so much 11 years ago.
