Fall colors in WI are spectacular. It is a special place and time. Unfortunately in SW Wisconsin the colors don't peek until October. The trout season ends Sept. 30th so I don't get to experience the best colors on the trees.

But this is my favorite fall colors. The male brook trout does their best to attract a mate. This guy is serious about it.

This brookie nailed a my fly my fly on the first cast into one of my favorite places on the West Fork of the Kickapoo.
