I got a tip that there were some eagles on a deer carcass near Arlington, NE. Grabbed my camera and headed north. Sure enough they were there. The carcass was about 10 feet from the highway. So as I approached they flew off.
One landed in a tree not to far away . Luck would have it that there was a driveway and I got as close as I could.
If you are looking for eagles - once you spot them stay in your car. Once you leave your vehicle they will leave. But often they will stay put as long as you stay in your car.
