Zoo Pic #1

So it was free pass at the Zoo this last Saturday! Omaha has a world class zoo. And it was free. Our photo club has an outing scheduled for this month at the Henry Doorly Zoo so Roger and I went to scout out some spots.
I never really have photographed at the zoo. So here are some pics.
Nikon d7000
Nikon 70-200 2.8
It seems to me that the key to good zoo photography is true for just about any wildlife photography.
You need a good subject.
Clean background.
The first is easy at the zoo.
Second - not so easy.
Shooting indoors doesn't help either. But that is what we had to work with.
Using 2.8 f- stop helped with the background.
