I posted a photo earlier tonight that I just did not like as well as this one - so off with old and on with the new.
I had gone out earlier this evening anticipating a nice sunset. The sunsets in NE are awesome - if you can see them. We have had a lot of grey skies lately. But the skies began to clear about 3:30 pm and I grabbed by gear and headed to the Elkhorn River Valley just west of Omaha.
I did not see any eagles but did see some deer grazing in the snow covered fields. Then just waited.
