So Roger and I got up at "O dark 30" to get to the Platte River in time for sunrise. We got there in plenty of time. Only to get totally skunked. Which was the theme for our trip by the way.
So off to the fields we went in search of cranes. We did see plenty of them as we were there right around before peak.
Cranes head to the fields after spending the night on the river. The spend thier time eating and showing off. This guy was trying hard to get someone's attention. Hope it worked.
