When I think of Yellowstone I think of critters. One of my all time favorites is the Coyote. Probably because of the cartoons that I watched when I was a kid. I do think that is why a lot of people don't like the Coyote. But just look at this guy.
I spotted this guy making his way down the Firehole River. I had a feeling that he would keep working his way down the river, so I positioned myself where I thought he would show up - and there he came over the rise.
I like the look in his eyes - the bird flying overheard and ridge line in the background.
