Crane Close Up

This is the closest I have ever been to a wild crane. I am in my car and this guy is right across the road. Could not believe that he was there.

When I stopped my car they moved off - but I was able to get a couple of shots.

This is was shot with a 70-200 at 200. Always - always keep you camera either on your lap or on the seat next to you. You just never know what you might see when you are driving to your favorite trout stream.

I love the blue dots in the foreground. Really alludes to the 'sneaking up' on him.
