Sweet Car

Sweet Car - I had stopped in Soldiers Grove, WI to see a war memorial. My Grandpa Chitwood was from Soldiers Grove and had served in WWII. His name is on the memorial.

On the way back to my car - this car turned the corner. I have no idea what kind of car this is - or what this guy was doing in Soldiers Grove - but how cool is this?

Check out what he is wearing on his head.

My car is the sweet blue Honda Civic SI!!!

Hey Mark,

I put this photo up to the challenge of my friends at the Studebaker Drivers Club. They're about the most knowledgeable group of gearheads you could ever hope to associate with. Turns out, this thing is a Frazer-Nash replica (a kit car), built on the frame of a VW bug. It probably dates to the 1970's. (The wheels and the gearbox were the dead giveaways. You can see the discussion here - http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/showthread.php?68912-Identify-this-car)

Anyway, great shot. Excellent focus, and the Honda isn't bad either!
