This was our last day in AK. We were anxious to see wildlife - having seen next to nothing on our back country trip. So we headed south of Anchorage towards Seward. I had remembered seeing Dall Sheep on my last trip to AK six years ago.
Sure enough, they were there!!!
I believe this is the only place in the world were Dall Sheep are this close to sea level.
Our hopes of seeing critters were realized. This was going to be a fun day. I had already dropped off my luggage at the airport - including my tripod. Stupid. So I had to improvise. I used my coat and a guard rail to steady my camera. It was overcast and misty. Bumped up the ISO to 400. We were on the board with critters!!!
